Service Description

Lesson rates are $25 for one half-hour lesson a week. At Curriers' Music World, in Richmond Kentucky, lessons are $88 per month. Lessons must be purchased in blocks of 4. Mr. Holbrook, unfortunately lacks the time to do single-run lessons, and make-ups are scheduled at his convenience. Ken typically carries a load of over sixty private students. Although this is a lot, there are always a few open slots. The best thing to do is to get on the schedule, and then you can be rotated into your desired time. As a teacher over the last 30 years, Mr. Holbrook has taught over 6000 private students. Instruments taught include mandolin, guitar, dobro, banjo, violin, and bass. His many years of performing all across the country in a host of very diverse musical situations have given him a solid handle on everything from bluegrass to rock, to classical, and much more. Moreover he has the ability to communicate to the student that, which in the end is most important: the love of the music.
