      Ronnie King

Ronnie King is a talented songwriter from Central Kentucky. It was a real pleasure working with him in the studio. With his permission we've presented 4 of his tunes here. These tunes are in the test-mastered stage, but should be completed sometime soon. For more information on Ronnie click here for a link to his myspace page. He deserves to be heard, so spread the word.

"Appalachian Trail" was another project completed by Ken in 2008. This was a project recorded by The Blind Corn Liquor Pickers. The BCLP is a Central Kentucky band which features among others, Joel Serdenis and Travis Young. Joel and Travis are two of the quirkiest writers around. Very intelligent, thought provoking songs, with a touch of humor. We are glad to call them friends. Check out some of their tunes below.

The songs are tough, taut and fraught with some simply amazing words, subject matters and imagery. And the band plays with some real fire and gusto. Now this is the way edgy bluegrass should sound! Beth's soaring, bluesy vocals add another whole dimension to your already multi-faceted sound.

         Commercial Spot

This was a project recorded in August of 2008 for The

Lexington Convention and Visitors Bureau. It was recorded

and mixed extremely fast; less than a day altogether.

Mark Simmons was engineer on this session, and it was

mixed and mastered by Ken. The tracks feature variations

on the melody to "My Old Kentucky Home" by Stepen Foster.

Besides Ken's playing, the Track also features Art Mize

      and Nick Lawrence.
